Motorcycle Parking

Staying on top of where to find motorcycle parking, especially in London, is like riding blindfolded on the Autobahn – total madness!
There are about 16,000 riders coming into Central London every day but there is currently only enough space for about 4,500 motorcycles to park at any one time. Furthermore, a parking ticket is issued about every 5 seconds and fines now raise more than £1bn a year for councils and private contractors. (Information taken from recent articles by the BBC.)
Although there is currently no charge for riders, a new proposal has also just gone out to charge motorcyclists in central London. Under the proposal, riders will be charged between £1 and £1.50 a day. (3rd Jan 2007)
